Every session includes 20+ fully edited digital images along with a private online gallery where you can view and download all of your beautiful photos. Location suggestions if needed and 1+ hours of shooting time with Kara.

Please allow 2 weeks for digital images to be delivered but if you’re in a hurry ask me about my rush service!

My Process

During the planning stage, we’ll dive into your vision and brainstorm all the fabulous ideas for the photoshoot. Got questions or concerns? Lay ’em on me! We’re here to make sure we’re in sync and that the final masterpiece knocks your socks off!

When it comes to locations, I’ve got a treasure trove of the coolest spots in town, but I’m all ears for any secret hideaways that hold a special place in your heart. Your uniqueness deserves a backdrop that screams YOU!

On the big day, I’ll be your personal cheerleader, guiding you through poses to capture your most dazzling self. No need to stress about striking a pose—let’s keep it fun and breezy! Together, we’ll whip up stunning portraits that radiate your one-of-a-kind flair.

After the shoot, I’ll sift through the gems and sprinkle some magic with my editing wand. You’ll get to ogle the best shots in a private online gallery, all yours for downloading, sharing, and printing to your heart’s content. And don’t worry, you’ve got a whole 6 months to relive the magic and share it with your favorite peeps!

Hey there, glad you stopped by! I’m Kara, the heart and soul behind Kara Allen Photography. Although I was trained in Physical Therapy, I’ve taken on the CEO role of our home since our second kiddo arrived. Speaking of kids, I’ve got three – a son and two daughters, who are 18, 16, and 13.

I first fell in love with the art of photography in the days of film, finding joy in the creative process. Recently, I ventured into the business side of photography, expanding my horizons while deepening my love for the craft. I am a globetrotter at heart, with a camera always in hand, capturing moments and memories. Africa has been my most treasured voyage, and I eagerly await my return. A perfect evening for me involves autumn air, a fire pit, a glass of wine, and the laughter of my family.

At my core, I am a passionate artist, filled with numerous business ideas each day. The biggest challenge is choosing which one to pursue next. However, the thrill of hearing the shutter release remains a constant joy. Whenever I hold my camera, I feel at home. I can’t wait to capture YOUR story and meet you very soon!
